According to the rumor mill Robert Smith and Co are to had the road again, this time to play some major festivals across Europe. The rumors popped up on the well known Chain Of Flowers website first and hinted at the band playing both the Reading and Leeds festivals in late August and also Pinkpop in May.
While the first 2 festivals seem just rumors, the Pinkpop organizer on the other hand confirmed that there have been negotiations with the band before Christmas and that they have been shortlisted for this year's festival anyhow. Werchter anyone?
Don't expect any official announcements soon though.

In case you missed out on this act, expect current electro dwelling into a more mainstream approach, yet remaining utterly dark. It shouldn't be a surprise that Damian Taylor (Björk, The Prodigy, UNKLE) mixed this release.

Harvey & The Moon is a French electro-rock band, formed in 2008 in Paris by guitarist, Naveed. Some might know Naveed from his solo work on the French Depeche Mode compilation "Children Of Depeche Mode" with his own version of "It's no good". After collaborating with the tasty French electro band Forestate, Naveed wants to start a new project that would mix punchy guitar riffs and subtle electronic touches.
The band's concept is to build an entire story through its albums, considering that each song is a chapter, that each album is a tome. It tells the adventures of Mila Bensley, a political refugee's child who crosses Europe to escape a tragic fate in the early 20th century. During her trip, she will meet plenty of weird characters who will make her commit unexpected acts and discover the dark side of humanity.
The band melts many styles, between powerful electro-rock songs, music tales for adults and movie atmospheres. Its main influences: Nick Cave & the Bad
Seeds, Goldfrapp, but also more punchy ones, such as Nine Inch Nails or The Smashing Pumpkins.
Since its creation, Harvey & The Moon have been rehearsing and performing mostly in Paris and its suburb, but now intends to cross the borders to get known abroad. The band was first signed to the Plasticine Music label before going to Believe Digital, the first European digital musical distributor, which broadcasted the first singles of the band since 2009, including "The Actor & The Thief", the single that you have heard (or will hear) on "Face The Beat". Note that the song comes in a remix by Foretaste.
The band's debut album "Some Collected Stories" was released in February 2010 and is available online through platforms such as Amazon for example. The band is now searching for a new label for its project to get further on.

Armageddon Dildos is a German electro-industrial-duo founded by Uwe Kanka (vocals) and Dirk Krause (synthesizer). They have been compared to bands like Rammstein, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, Ministry, Revolting Cocks, Einstuerzende Neubauten and even Coil. In April 2007 the band embarked on a US tour, marking the band's first live dates in North America in more than a decade.
The band has been under contract with several labels including Zoth Ommog, Sire Records, Metronome Music, RCA BMG Ariola and Electric Blue Ausfahrt.
In 2000 Dirk Krause leaves the band but Uwe Kanka decides to keep Armageddon Dildos alive adding more members to the line-up. Anno 2011 Armageddon Dildos live counts 6 members.
